Successful Multilateral Exchange in Nuremberg

The Multilateral Exchange in Germany took place in Nuremberg from the 22nd until the 26th of October 2018 within the framework of Euro Contrôle Route (ECR). In total 17 inspectors from countries such as Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, Romania and Slovenia attended the Exchange.

 

Manipulation of the digital control device and AdBlue manipulations were the main focuses of the exchange. The participants first discussed the legal requirements for manipulation controls in various countries by means of presentations.

 

Subsequently, BAG technical experts demonstrated the Federal Office's handling of manipulation controls during a joint control on the A 3. As a positive result of the Exchange the participants wish to attend further exchanges of expertise in addition to more joint controls. In the overall result, the exchange was a success for all participants as reciprocity of knowledge and experience were exchanged.
