ECR-EGTC Founding General Assembly

Euro Contrôle Route European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Limited (ECR EGTC) held its inaugural General Assembly meeting on March 25 and 26, 2024, in Rijswijk, Netherlands. ECR EGTC was founded on February 12, 2024 with its headquarters in Rijswijk.

 

ECR-EGTC is the premier cooperative network of European road transport enforcement bodies. Its mission is to enhance road safety, ensure fair competition, and improve working conditions within the road transport sector across Europe. Founded by the pioneering efforts of member states including Germany, France, Croatia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Poland, ECR-EGTC is setting the standard for uniform safety measures and regulatory compliance for commercial vehicles continent-wide. By facilitating cross-border cooperation, organizing joint training programs, and exchanging best practices, we aim to create a safer, fairer, and more sustainable transport environment.

 

In 2024 Poland takes the helm as President with the Netherlands serving as the Vice-President.
